Today we launch a feature many charities have been waiting for: donors can now choose to cover the WeGlow platform fee themselves. One click. A small amount. But an enormous impact.
Why does this feature exist?
Every online payment has a cost. Payment providers charge a small fee per transaction — and traditionally, that cost comes off the donation amount. WeGlow asked donors directly: Would you like to cover the transaction fee so 100% of your donation arrives?
The answer surprised even us.

Transaction fees are the silent enemy of every fundraising campaign. With this feature, more than 8 out of 10 donors voluntarily cover the cost — meaning less loss on every donation, more impact per euro, and a platform that stays financially healthy without passing costs on to charities.
