Education for children from disadvantaged backgrounds
At the Simeria Educational Center, children receive homework help and a hot meal, thus receiving important support, being encouraged and assisted to continue their studies and build a better future. In addition to homework help and the hot meal, children also benefit from socialization as well as various activities and workshops designed to create and develop a broad range of knowledge and experiences.This after-school educational project is aimed at children from disadvantaged backgrounds in the city of Simeria, Hunedoara County, its main goal being to contribute to reducing school dropout and creating a pleasant environment in which children can learn, socialize, and develop.Activities carried out within the project:homework/help with remedial classesEnglish language coursescreativity workshopsviewing plays and moviesexcursionsThe beneficiaries of the Simeria Educational Center are 18 children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
