Upselling to monthly gifts is a step in the donation widget on your website. When a visitor picks a one-off amount, the widget suggests two monthly amounts, with the option to give once after all. That turns a one-off donor into a recurring donor, at the moment engagement is highest.
You set the amounts or let them be calculated automatically, and you can switch the step off. The feature belongs to the Pro plan at €40 per month, together with the donation widget.

The right moment
The question comes after the donor already chose an amount and continues, so not as a disruptive pop-up beforehand. The donor sees two monthly suggestions and a clear button to stay with a one-off gift. The text states that stopping is always possible.
You decide the amounts
With “automatic” the widget calculates a fitting monthly amount from the chosen gift. You can also choose the same amount, or set two own amounts. In the widget builder you switch the feature on or off with one toggle.
What happens next
If the donor chooses monthly, the gift runs like any recurring gift: confirm the SEPA direct debit consent, pay, and manage it in their own profile afterwards. Upselling does not work when your payment account does not support recurring gifts or when you fix the frequency.
