Your Giving Tuesday page in 10 minutes with WeGlow.world
A step by step guide to build your Giving Tuesday donation page with WeGlow.world: account, preset, story, amounts, thank you, test and where to register.
TL;DR Your Giving Tuesday donation page on WeGlow.world takes a few minutes to set up: create a free account, pick the Giving Tuesday preset, write your story (Glowie helps), check the amounts, fill in the thank you text and publish. Then take time to test with your team and, if your country has a national Giving Tuesday showcase, add your link there.
Giving Tuesday 2026 is on Tuesday 1 December. If you start early you have plenty of time, but the first version of the page comes together faster than you expect. This guide runs from account to live page.
Be realistic: building is quick, reviewing and testing with your team is not. Plan that time separately, especially if payment methods or your branding still need setting up. Amounts in examples are in euros and differ per country.
What do you need before you start?
You need four things: an email address for your account, your logo, one real photo of your work and a goal amount. Nothing more. If those are ready, you search for nothing while building and it stays a matter of minutes.
- An email address for the account
- Your logo and your brand colour
- One real photo of people or of your work
- A goal amount in your currency
Pick the photo with care. A real face or a real moment of your work builds more trust than a stock image, and it takes only a minute to choose. If you have no photo yet, take one this week, with permission from anyone who appears in it.
Step 1: create an account
Create a free account on WeGlow.world and add your organisation with its name, logo and colour. Starting costs nothing: no setup fees and no contract. Rates are on the pricing page. Your page then carries your own branding.
You can start straight away on the Giving Tuesday sign up page.
Step 2: pick the Giving Tuesday preset
Open the donation page builder and choose the Giving Tuesday preset. Title, subtitle, amounts and thank you text come prefilled, in Dutch, English, French and German. You adjust them instead of filling an empty screen. That saves you the most work.
The preset also contains a countdown to 1 December, a share button and a progress bar with your goal amount. You do not have to build those yourself.
Step 3: write your story with Glowie
Write three sentences about one person or situation: who they are, what is needed and what a gift changes. Then let Glowie, the AI assistant in WeGlow.world, rewrite your text in three tones: personal, professional or urgent. You choose which version you keep.
The GivingTuesday toolkit recommends real stories and photos over generic visuals. Read the article on the donation page for more on structure.
| Tone | When does it fit? |
|---|---|
| Personal | A story about one person or family |
| Professional | For companies, partners and a formal audience |
| Urgent | A concrete need with a clear deadline |
Step 4: check the amounts
Keep four or five amounts and give each a label that says what the gift does. You set one time and monthly amounts separately. Work back from your real costs and never show an amount you cannot deliver. For picking labels, read the article on amounts and labels.
An example, assuming an organisation that delivers meals: 10 euros is a hot meal, 25 euros a week of meals and 50 euros a family parcel. Fill in those labels with your own real costs.
Step 5: fill in the thank you text
Write a short thank you text that says what the gift makes possible and what happens next. As soon as that text is filled in, the thank you email goes out automatically after every gift. You plan nothing extra. A suggestion is already in the preset.
A tax receipt does not go out automatically. Fiscal proof for gifts differs per country, and WeGlow.world does not claim to cover every country. Ask what applies to yours through the contact page.
Step 6: publish and test with your team
Publish your page, then ask at least two colleagues or friends to try giving. Check that the photo loads, that the amounts are right and that payment works. Which methods show up depends on your country and provider. Do this no later than a week before 1 December, so around 24 November 2026.
- Publish the page in your account.
- Open it on your phone, since most visitors arrive from there.
- Make a test gift and check the thank you email.
- Ask someone who does not know your page to try giving.
- Fix what was unclear and publish again.
Be honest about what is left to do: building the page takes a few minutes, testing with your team comes on top.
Where do you register your Giving Tuesday link?
Check whether your country has a national Giving Tuesday site and add your donation page link there. We cannot verify such a site for every country, so look for yours rather than assume. Belgium, for instance, has a showcase platform that collects nothing and only sends visitors to your own page, as Fundraisers Belgium describes.
Use the same link in your posts and emails. Free layouts are on the layouts page, and planning emails is covered in the article on WeGlow Mail for Giving Tuesday.
